The purpose of the project is to fully consolidate building 100, the historic workshop of CERN. A new building, named building 99 will replace the existing building 72, accommodating the installation of an additional workshop surface and modern offices.
The renovation of Building 100 will include the consolidation of existing spaces and a reconfiguration of the workshop areas.
Building 99 will be replaced by a new two -story construction. The interior will include offices, workshop areas, meeting rooms, and technical spaces.
